Primer emerges from 34 combined years of experience in innovative cross-cultural leadership in education, management and entrepreneurship. It represents a systems-thinking approach based both on Amy’s M.A. in and subsequent years of practice of ecological design thinking, and Sayan’s experience in business development and entrepreneurship.
Amy Seefeldt
I believe we can shape more fulfilling workplaces and lives through harnessing the power of authentic collaboration. I first entered the field of education in 1999 as a History teacher. By 2010, I shifted into senior leadership positions in international education. My experience in administration led to some deep convictions about leadership, listening, and collaboration. In 2016, I had the privilege of earning a Master’s degree in Ecological Design Thinking through a study sabbatical in England. Since 2016, I have been developing and prototyping methods for effective collaboration in reimagining our learning and work lives.
Sayan Deb Sinha
My pursuit of seeking and solving intricate, seemingly insurmountable challenges has led me down the interdisciplinary field of business development and strategy since 2013. I have had the privilege to have assisted many businesses, from the largest to the smallest, and in many fields, from international advertising to coffee roasting. The one common thread that pulled them all is collaboration- be it between team members, or the business and its customers. Amy came on board as a client in 2020, and her work on effective collaboration aligned with my vision of the future work ecosystem- and in a couple of years, we ended up being business partners through Primer.
